Between sensuality and functionality
Between 2014 and 2017, I worked in the “detail division” of the interior design department at the Mercedes-Benz of Advanced Design Center head office in Sindelfingen, Germany. This department is intrinsically focused on bringing sensual aesthetics to essential functions. It was here that I collaborated on the design of various automotive devices, including a range of steering wheels, shifters and car keys.
Every element of a Mercedes-Benz is conceptualized with the intention of conveying emotion. Once united, each individual piece transforms into the ultimate vision: that of a dream car.
